A Personal Touch...
Our phones are always answered by one of our friendly care staff.  They may have to ask you questions to ensure you are directed to the proper staff member to assist you. 
It is necessary for us to use a voicemail system due to call volumes, but all phone
calls received by 4pm each day, are returned before the staff members leave
for the night. 

If you are unhappy with a response time to a message you have left, please feel free
to call back and ask to speak with a supervisor, or fill out and submit this form, and a member of our Care Staff will will reply to your message.  It is important to us that our patients receive the highest quality care in a timely manner.

Dr. Goheen, for an additional 15 years prior to the inception of
PPKC in 1994.

Directly responsible for the service of the front desk and ancillary staff and assists the Practice Administrator in managing practice operations.

Cheryl Daugherty
Advanced Practice Nurse (Nurse Practitioner)
Service since 2007

Cheryl Daugherty is an Adult Nurse Practitioner who is licensed to practice in Missouri by the Missouri State Board of Nursing.  She has completed the advanced training and clinical experience with patients necessary to diagnosis and manage most common and many chronic illnesses.  She works under the direct supervision of our physicians.  She primarily works with Dr. Smith’s established patients with chronic illnesses, focused on health maintenance, counseling and patient education.

Assigned to work in rotation completing patient work-ups, performing PFTs, completing lab work, performing X-rays and assisting in general during patient appointments. She is also assigned to work directly with Dr. Perkins, assisting him by scheduling patients for procedures and reporting test results to patients.

Responsible for many duties in the office including maintaining the information in our electronic medical records and backing up the front desk coordinators, medical assistants and office supervisor during times of staff shortages.
